The brand register.

Everything the institute prints, from the flyer to the certificate, keeps one register. This page documents it so the identity travels intact: the marks, the codes, the voice.

Three scripts, one lockup. ORYX and INSTITUTE set in a classic serif, ink #181713; 理工, the characters for science and engineering, stands where the word Polytechnic sits in the full legal name, in maroon #71111F.

The characters align to the ORYX baseline and scale to the cap height of the X, exactly as the supplied artwork draws them. The wordmark is never redrawn, never restacked and never set in another typeface: the site renders it from the artwork's own vector paths.

The print kit, in print

The pieces the institute publishes while it is being established, photographed as supplied and carried horizontally.

The certificate of achievement, double-rule border and signature line
The letterhead: lockup top left, shield watermark, contact rule at the foot
The business card front, the maroon shield alone
The notecard with the shield emblem centered
The presentation folder over the institute's own coastal frame

The specimen wall.

Twelve objects from the master package's cutout set, the things the identity is built out of, isolated on paper.

The voice, with a bar

Declarative, exact, unhurried. State the fact; cite the source; stop.

  • Approved lines run verbatim: Looks harmless. Isn't. / graduates solve problems quietly and finish them decisively. / excellence in innovation and applied problem-solving. / You're only as good as your tools. We forge them.
  • Facts carry their source inline or they do not ship.
  • No wisecracks, no self-annotation, no captions under images.
  • Status is stated as it is: prelaunch, pre-accreditation, honest.
